Hi Dimitris, I have made a new Category. I think I put the Articles under the Player Handbook too deep --( Greyhawk/Player Handbook/Feats &Traits/Vocations or Occupations/Lore Historical/Regional/National History & Legend/ ...articles ) . I made Categories under World Encyclopedia for History and I need to move them there. That's when the problem started. Thanks for your help!

Bug has duplicate Articles Not Properly Being Placed Under Parent Articles

I'm also having this issue, in Google Chrome on desktop. I was able to set 8 child articles to a parent on October 1 (it's how I'm organizing Spooktober), and then couldn't add more by the next day.

Is there anything I can do to help move the files? I just want to get back to work. Again thanks for the help Dimitris.

Where are you trying to assign the parent article from?

Are you also assigning a parent category?

I have an Article called "Rauxes Old keep" . I want to attach it under "Map of Rauxes". "Map of Rauxes" is under the Category "Local History". "Local History is a Category under "History". "History" is a Category under the "World Encyclopedia" in Greyhawk. Thank you Dimitris for helping me troubleshoot this. I am not sure what I may have done wrong.

So I am trying to attach an Article to another Article under a Category. The parent Article does have a map. There is no other Article attached to the parent Article. And the Category "Local History" has no Sub Categories.

I’m getting the same issue, only with generic articles. And it’s recent too… on 2nd October I could, but since then I can’t. The older ones still have their parent article set, but I can’t edit them… after save it resets.

I agree with Ononomad. I can't use the generic article. Maybe it is in permissions for my access. That could be why GorkamWorka or Dimitris cannot reproduce. They are coming in as an Admin. But I need to know if this is considered resolved?

I just looked and I can see its listed as open. I am still playing with it trying to see if there is more information I can provide. I can take and move an Article under a Category. So if I could use a Category like I do the Article then there would be a possible workaround. And the Organization container seems to work without any trouble.

This issue is currently happening on the World Anvil Codex to me. The Patch requests says 200 Ok, but the change doesn't actually go through for some reason.

I experienced this issue for the first time this morning. Just to add that I tried it on Chrome and Edge and experienced it on both browsers. I created a new generic article specifically to test with it, in case my existing article was corrupted in any way and I attempted to attach to multiple parents and all with the same result. Category attachment does work, however. Pretty sure this was all fine until relatively recently.

It's also generic articles for me-- specifically, making generic articles the children of another generic article. It's also definitely recent, as I was able to do this with no problem as recently as October 1.

Ok So in order :

Thanks for the response GorkamWorka and Dimitris. I also have a problem with Articles I made just before it happened. It won't allow me to move them to put them under a Category. It is like the Articles are frozen.

Hi all, A fix as been deploy that should solve thoses problems. Can you try and confirm ?
