Hello hounskull   FIrst of all - you are using a feature (disabled autosave) that is deprecated and will completely be removed in the coming weeks. The reson it is removed is exactly what you pointed out. It does nothing more than the normal autosave does.   I am suspecting that by adding BBcode. you mean that you have used the BUTTONS on the top of your editor and after that without making any other change you clicked to the view mode.   This happened because in order for any save to be triggered you need to have typed something into the editor, even an empty space would do.   This is something we will definitely be changing on the next iteration but at this point it is how the editor is working. So if you make sure that after using the buttons you simply add a space it will work.   I will EXTREMELY strongly suggest that you enable autosave and not go back to make sure your account will be stable.     Please feel to message me here if you need any further help
