Default editor not working

I have selected the Legacy editor as my main editor in settings, but when I attempt to edit an article through the "edit article" on the view page of the article, it makes my old legacy articles into a new advanced version instead of the legacy which I have chosen as my standard editor.

Steps to Reproduce

Selected Legacy [Deprecated] as my main editor in settings -> go to an article through viewing it in my world -> pressing the "edit character" or equivelant button -> being taken into a new editor instead of the legacy editor

Hello there, the legacy editor is deprecated for over two years now and it will not be supported with the new layout.

You can choose the new Visual editor or the Code editor, both of them are fully supported.
