Place of birth field doesn't handle mention function

When filling out the Place of Birth prompt in the Character template, the help says that you can use the @ mention function. But when typing this in, it doesn't bring up a list or anything, just puts the characters you type in the field. This is only a problem in the new modal UI. The mention function works in the old edit UI.

Steps to Reproduce

Using the new UI. In case it's important, I'm using Euclid for my articles. Go to a character article. Enable the Place of Birth prompt. Type in @ plus 3 letters of a location. Wait for prompt. No prompt appears. Look at updated article. Place of birth shows the @ and letters you typed.

Hey there - this is not a bug - The mention system does not work on single line prompts.

You can copy paste the BBcode if you wish but we do not support it because it can cause issue.

Okay, then perhaps the prompt explanation for place of birth should not say to use the mention system. I have a screenshot to show you where it says that, but I don't seem to be able to attach it to this comment.
