When I place map pins/markers and leave the page they are not staying in the original place I put them. I tried to adjust them and re-place them, but when I left and came back to the map it put them in random places...

Steps to Reproduce

Edit Map, place pins, leave map, reload map/edit map = pins not where originally set

Hello there - I am sorry for asking I am just trying to make sure that we are investigating this correctly, but have you seen the video, are you following the instructions for creation as shown?   We have over 25,000 pins created every day and nobody has reported this so far.

Hey OP. I am actually having the same issue, and have been since last Thursday when the servers crashed. I now also get a "cannot establish a connection to the server" error upon opening the map, and it seems like the pins simply refuse to actually save properly. It's now at the point where I can't even edit the existing pins to update info, and I have to imagine it's at least somewhat related to whatever caused the server crash, since the issue has progressively gotten worse since then.

Hello there KymeraofVaros , your problem does not seem to be the same issue as the OP described

  • Is this happening to all your maps?
  • Can I have a public map to see this ?
  • Is your map particularily large?

I have the same problem. Moving markers on a map does not properly update the actual location of those markers quite often.

I have contacted Tillerz and the issue doesn't exist anymore - my guess is that it was connected to the ratelimiter against the DDoS attack. There's a visual bug causeing a slight shift (2px on certain svgs) but I am marking this bug as closed
