I've had this issue as well but only with 1 article. I attempted to create a settlement from the quick article creation, and instead it created a generic article and it's as if that article keeps duplicating. I've deleted maybe 25 of the same article by now! It keep coming back! The weird thing is that I made maybe 3 or 4 articles before that one, in that way, all of which are fine.

Hi Silenc3e3e, we've made a fix regarding the quick article creation that should fix the duplicates bug. Can you let us know if it still happens for you?

Sure. I'll start using it again. I know earlier today (about 4-6 hours ago (Which looks like is before you sent that message)) I tried using it again. And while it didn't make a duplicate, it still made it a generic article instead of a character. At time of writing, I need to go to bed :P But when I jump on again, I'll start using it and see how I go. :)

There is another open bug report regarding the quick creation of articles setting the generic template called 'Quick made article created as generic after selecting specific (technology) template via typing in the search feature.' - you can refer to that for any notes or updates you notice (and if you upvote it, you will get notifications of any updates on it). For now I'm closing this report in regards to the duplicates issue, but I will be notified if you comment here again!
