Access rights not properly recognized within text fields of item statblocks

Grandmaster access to secret blocks suddenly inaccessible within item statblocks, stating I should upgrade.

Steps to Reproduce

Generate an item statblock of type:
Item (Dungeons & Dragons 5e)

Try to add a secret block to any text field.

This still worked a couple of week ago.

Hello OnishiGT, thanks for reporting the issue you ran into. Most likely this is can be fixed by clearing your cache, and or logging out and back in to your account, sometimes the cache can become cluttered. Let me know how this works for you. In the meantime, you can send any more information that you think could be helpful, including a screenshot of what you are trying to do. Thanks!

I tried clearing the entire browser history and another browser, but unfortunately no success yet.


When using a statblock, it generates a message on the membership. This doesn't happen with other areas of the site, like for instance, articles. Here is what I see now:

Two other unusual things happened before that:

  1. All of the text fields and menu's everywhere on the site became a lot darker and less readable.
    (this appears to stay regardless of any browser or site setting now)
  2. I switched from Firefox on Windows 11 to Firefox on Fedora 43 (Linux).
    (I've also tried opera (chromium) on Fedora, but it had the same issues)
