Article Editor does not render rich text properly

While editing an article created from the Dashboard (rather than from Articles), rich-text editing is possible, of course. However, when I save an article, leave the editor, and then begin editing again, the editor does not render the rich text properly. Everything down to about line 20 appears as bold, italic, bulleted, etc., but from line 20 on, all of the tags appear instead, and none of the text is actually rendered as bold, italic, etc.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create an article from the Dashboard 2. Use rich-text editing (bold, italics, etc.) 3. Save the article 4. Exit the article 5. Open the article in the editor again 6. The rich text should not render properly from about line 20 onward--tags appear instead of the text actually being modified

That points to an issue with an unclosed tag or a BBcode usage the WYSIWYG is unable to cope with. Have you tried switching to the advanced editor?

I believe I am in the advanced editor when this happens. To be sure of this, though, which is the advanced editor?

World Anvnil has 2 editos Plato (WYSIWYG) and Euclid (Code Editor / Advanced Editor) You can check which one you have and change it from here: https://www.worldanvil.com/dashboard/user/interface (Top right Avatar > Interface)   Please let me know

I did some testing with both Euclid and Plato, and I finally figured out the problem. I like to use double dashes--like this--instead of a single dash - like this. The double dashes were causing Plato to malfunction: all tags after double dashes were not rendering in the WYSIWYG editor. I removed the double dashes, and everything worked perfectly. Thank you for your time.
