Hello My GM is creating a world where he has added me as an author so I can create my own articles for my character. It works somewhat but there seems to be a problem where I can breach the access barrier and see articles that I am not author off and is not published. When I am editing an article I have an "Articles" link in the top right corner (see screenshot). If i use this link I can see all articles in the world no matter subscription groups / published / draft etc. I dont belive this is as intended. If I on the other hand enter the world "normally" and chooses Articles in the left bar I can only see a list of articles that i am an author of which I believe is the intended functionality.
Got to article you have access to in a world where you are author / advanced Author. Click the "Articles" link in the top right corner.
Looking at you account you are marked as both a co-author AND a Writer which is probably the reason for the issue - Can the owner of the world remove both roles and then add you just as a writer to see if the issue persists?
Not sure I understand what a co-author is in this context? Do you mean co-owner? When the gm looks at the Access / author screen I am only marked as Writer. Same thing goes for Knutz and Krath77 who are also writers on the World. They have the same issue.
I can recreate the exact same thing in my own world with a test user.
Any update? This makes co-authors useless if there are any secret pages.
I have also experienced this issue. I have players in my DnD world set as advanced writers and they can access the "Articles & Categories" tab to see all articles. From there, they can also add/remove subscriber groups on an article and even delete articles they did not write, which happened by accident. I would appreciate an update/fix on this issue as it is very frustrating for me and confusing for my players.
Hello guys - we are currently working on a complete update of the system that will fix all issues and make it also easier for your players to interact with the system.
