Hello team! Happy Sundog! so not sure if it is a bug, or just me , cant access my manuscripts to edit. I was able to do one, but when i go to click on another "chapter" or " Section" it gives my no editable windows but a small scrolling window in the uper left corner where you would be starting your first . I may need to renew my subscription but I cannot remember when I got the guild memberhship to use the manuscript feature. If thats the case Ill be happy to renew just working out some things. Also, unrelated would I use the Discord channel to ask questions such as how to customize my exisiting page? im looking to have images appear over the articles as the mouse cursor hovers over them like the snippets (for example the faces or heads of the characters. I feel like I have seen that on one of the worlds I visited when I first signed up but now I cant remember which world. Anyways thank you for the time I have attached some screenshots for the example.
just clicking from one manuscript section to the other
Hello! Manuscripts are indeed a guild feature, so a membership is required to edit them - however it appears that there is indeed a bug that causes some of the editing interface to not load correctly (this is related to another bug that is currently under investigation). It does look like the system is seeing you with an active subscription, so until that runs out, the Manuscripts feature should be working, aside from the current bug you're experiencing. To answer your question about the article blocks/mouseover - yes! The Discord #help channel is the best place for getting information on how to do things like what you're asking within World Anvil. Typically for articles to have a mouseover effect, you need to find the article (use the search from the sidebar) and then you'll need to click the button that says Copy BBCode Block (should be the second button when you hover over the desired article in the search results)
You should get something like: [articleblock:2944fff2-fc42-409e-b66b-9a859b44ec9f] which you can then paste wherever you'd like it to appear. This will show a "block" of the article, and when a visitor mouses over this block, they'll see whatever content you've added to that article's Mouseover Snippet field (under Design tab in the desired article edit interface). If you have further questions (or if I misunderstood what you're asking), feel free to hop into the Discord and go to the #help channel where our volunteers would be happy to assist further!wow thank you so much! that cleared up alot of questions, thank you gain for help!
hello yes the bug still exist. my apologies, I did not see the note about if "it still existed" it does, im uploading screenshots now
