The new pin creation method requires a mouse. Which I don't have. Thus meaning I can't make map pins at all. Which I could do before.
1. Open maps on anything not using a map 2. Uselessly tap for a while, being very confused until you see a pop up and feel kind of dumb at a usually really intuitive software 3. I don't know, there's no way to make map pins on mobile
Robomancing, I read your steps to reproduce and it seems like you didn't mention clicking on the menu that is visible at the bottom of the screen! If there's no menu visible for you please provide me this information:
Thank you, it seems for whatever reason the menu wasn't available during my first attempt. I'm unsure why, but seeing as the menu is available now, I count this as resolved. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to look into the issue.
Never mind apparently that was a one off for having the menu available. I primarily work on a seventh generation iPad on OS version 17.3.1. I believe the Safari version correlates to the OS version of the device. If it is relevant, bizarrely turning the tablet seems to make the menu glitch into frame while the frame converts from horizontal to vertical and back, but once the switch is complete the menu goes back to being either entirely absent or out of frame. (Yes, I did make sure that I was not in any way zoomed in.) Attempts to use the maps via my phone have a pin available as movable however there's no way to actually enter information to the pin to title it or link articles. I don't typically use my phone for map making or World Anvil in general so I'm unsure if that's typical. Most of the menu is clipped out of frame.
