Events can only be added to some timelines

I have a world which makes heavy use of timelines, and has a very high number of them.

I've recently discovered I can no longer add events to some timelines if I create the event using the sidebar widget (as opposed to creating it directly within the timeline). It appears that the list of options for timelines to add the event to only displays the timeline which appear first on the list alphabetically, and timelines lower in the alphabet do not appear on the list at all, even when searching for them by name.

Previously, the legacy historic event edit could be used to circumvent this issue, but since that has been discontinued, I am now unable to create useable events (event creation works, but without the ability to add them to a timeline, this is useless) from any screen other than the timeline itself, which kind of defeats the point of the new UI.

I assume this is a bug rather than an intended feature, as the full list of timelines is available when editting an event from within timeline view, and I can't imagine why they'd be deliberately different!

Steps to Reproduce

Create a historic event from any page other than a timeline in a world with a high number of timelines (I don't know exactly what the cut off is, but this world as 70 timelines, and it's about the first 3rd that appear on the list), and attempt to attach the event to whichever timeline appears last alphabetically.

hey Jupiter Melichios,

Could you please let me know in which timelines this happens?

As I said above, this is not happening on timelines, this is happening when creating a historic event from non-timeline view.

An example of timeline that I am unable to add an event created that way to is https://www.worldanvil.com/p/timeline/edit/2fe1d7b9-3e73-470c-9914-ee1cf0a0df81 but I don't believe this is anything to do with that timeline or any of the others affected. Looking over the list of timelines available to add an event to, every timeline I would expect beginning with a number or A-G is present, and none after that. There is nothing that is consistently different about those timelines compared to ones further down the list, so the issue is definitely appears to be that the list is simply limited to only display a certain number of entries even if a world has more timelines than that.

Hello Jupiter, I have put up the fix so you should be able to see all your timelines in the list now. Let me know if you have any further problems. Happy worldbuilding!
