Over the course of several days I have been able to repeat this error   The category in question has 56ish articles contained in it that all start with numbers 1-13. If I drag the articles with names starting with 10, 11, 12, and 13 (via clicking on the arrow next to the article name in the category view) into position to order them so they are in correct numerical order (10, 11, 12, and 13 are placed above all the rest in order by default) starting with 1 and ending with 13 I am no longer able to click on any link on the page and the message about losing connection to world anvil and the internet being infested with udans(?) appears. Upon refresh all changes to category order are lost and I am able to use World Anvil normally. I can repeat this error by attempting the reorganization again.   This has happened over multiple days, have reset my own connections to ensure it is not on my internet side, and it still persists.   I use Firefox as my browser but I have replicated this in Chrome as well.

Steps to Reproduce

Drag articles titled 13 to bottom of category list. Drag articles titled 12 to bottom of list, above 13s. Drag articles titled 11 to bottom of list, above 12s. Drag articles titled 10 to bottom of list, above 11s   Attempt to click on any other category link (or any link on page) and nothing happens. Refresh and lose connection to world anvil, resetting article order in category.

Hey there :)   The max number of articles in a category should never exceed 20 (please check the documentation) if you wish to use any forced ordering method . 56 articles is almost 3 times that which ... will explain why it doesn't work ;)   I would suggest you break those into 3 subfolders and try again :)

Hello Dimitris, thank you for addressing this. This is also happening with categories, after following your suggestion here I broke things into subcategories, and now my categories are not holding any sensical order.   Is it the same issue?

There is currently a feature request that will address this issue - I intent to accept and deploy the update quickly https://www.worldanvil.com/community/voting/suggestion/8992161d-e816-448b-9fb9-31dd682b8693/view
