Materials: A spell scroll of the spell you wish to ascended, or a tome containing the ascended spell you wish to replicate.

Create an ascended version of a pre-existing basic spell.
Make a saving throw against your own Spellsave DC. On a success, you create the intended spell.
The new ascended spell exists on a spell scroll (created as part of the spell) and can be transferred to a spell tome over 1 month.
Unless transferred, it will be lost upon use. Alternatively, this spell can be used to create a basic version of a preexisting ascended spell.
