Novice Chronomancy Spell ( Arcane, Primal )
Description:
The weave quietly speaks in susurrant tone while make the motion of a farmer hoeing the soil. The spell affects an area of soil capable of supporting plant growth (no greater than 1 cu foot per weaving).
By means of this spell, the caster causes acceleration in the growth of plants, particularly with respect to the germination of plant seeds. The spell causes seeds to shoot forth tiny sprouts, newly sprouted plants to grow an inch or so, buds to flower, and so on. Fruits and vegetables can be ripened (even to spoilage) by this spell.
After 2d4 castings of this spell, the land can no longer support plant growth unless enriched or allowed to lay fallow.
Augments: (Requires Expertise)
Effects and changes by increasing complexity.
- Hyper-Accelerated Growth [+2]: The spell rapidly causes the plant to grow, progressing three steps per casting instead of one. This still only is considered 1 casting. Fruits, Vegetables, and Flowers cannot be spoiled by accident with this augmentation.
- Specified Growth [+1]: You can now choose a target of a specific plant instead of an area.
