Yordle

Yordles are small anthropomorphic bipeds with a knack for getting into trouble. While their ancestors came from Bandle City, a pocket of the Spirit Realm, those that live on Runeterra are usually long generations disconnected from those kin.   What differentiates yordles from other magical folk is that their physiology is more consistent between its members. Yordles are sexually dimorphic and much shorter than humans; both sexes rarely exceed 4 feet tall. Their skin texture ranges from being completely smooth, to very lightly covered in fur, to ultimately being significantly furry. Their hands have four digits (some yordles are also seen with five digits) while their feet differ greatly depending on the individual (from four to two digit feet).

Description:
Yordles of Runeterra
During the early periods of Bandle City, Yordles that resided in this spiritual realm started constructing intricate system of gateways which would enable them to travel to the material realm of Runeterra. During the centuries, Runeterran civilizations rose and fallen, but the gateway system became ever more complex, connected with each other through magical leylines that crossed between the spiritual and material realms. Eventually, the gateway systems collapsed in on themselves and the yordles on the material plane were stranded for some time. Several passageways were reopened, however the Yordles in Runeterra adapted to live on the material plane and stayed. (Difference between Feywild Elves and Material Plane Elves basically)
