Giantkin

The giantkin are medium sized humanoids with varying levels of Giant hertiage within their veins. Heirs of Ostoria, the Empire of Giants, they never the less have a rather diminished status compared to their full-blooded relatives who find rank and file based on their height. That being said True Giants are growing smaller and duller each subsequent generation, while the giantkin remain strong. There may come a day when the giantkin are larger than the true giants borns, but until that day no True Giant would easily submit to a mere runt. You are left a duty to restore an Empire that never wanted you, and that each day you question if they are even worthy of it. The All-Father Ammon left the world because of his disappointment in them after all, which all his Titan Children leaving one by one afterwards.   Age: Maturity 30 to 350 years. Maximum age of 500 years.

Cleaveskull

  Descendants of the Two-Headed Giant, the Ettin.   Fire Giants, Hafildjo or Half-Ildjo-Tunen, they are still considered part of the Ordning in Fire Giant settlements (but not others), and thus can actually further their status through the creation of works of art or war. While their human height is a hurdle to overcome, it is often by the dedicated few. Even rarer, Hafildjo's that come to raise mercenary groups and armies can often rise to prominent positions in Fire Giant society.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Two-Headed: You have advantage on Perception checks and on saving throws against being Blinded, Charmed, Deafened, Frightened, Stunned, and rendered Unconscious or asleep. An affect that would remove a head does not automatically kill you, but you lose this feature if you do.   Ambidexterous: You gain the Two-Weapon Fighting Fighting Style.    

Firbolg

  The touch of Fey has transformed the Firbolg, from massive giantkin of the northern reaches to a smaller more humble tender of Fey beasts and woodlands. The Fey-Touched Firbolg are one of the greatest of magic users amongst the Giants, but being more insular they tend to drive off other intelligent races from their territory. There are of course, the rarely curious Firbolg that will use their magic to blend in amongst humans without them being any the wiser. They had great relations to the Fey, but tend to avoid the Elves and human Rangers or Druids.   Firbolg Magic: You can cast Detect Magic and Disguise Self, your spellcasting ability for this spell is your choice of Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma. Once you cast either spell, you can cast it again with this trait after you finish a short or long rest or cast this spell normally with any spell slots you have. When you use this version of Disguise Self, you can seem up to 3 feet shorter than normal, allowing you to more easily blend in with humans and elves.   Hidden Step: As a bonus action, you can magically turn Invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, make a damage roll, or force someone to make a saving throw. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.   Speech of Beast and Leaf: You have the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.    

Goliath

  Descendants of the Stone Giants, these tribal humanoids tend to form tribes around the few Stone Giants that have remained active in the world. The most noticable traits of Goliaths are their inability to grow hair, they do have some good relations with Humans and Theskan Orcs, but a long history of rivalry makes them while hostile against Dwarves. Able to deal with the horrid exposure makes them great hunters and scouts for the Far North, with exile from their native tribes often resulting in them joining Human settlements.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   High Altitude Conditioning: Gain proficiency in Athletics.   Stone’s Endurance: You can focus yourself to occasionally shrug off injury. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d12. Add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled, and reduce the damage by that total. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.    

Gruumshborn

  Descendant from Cyclops and Orc Priests of Gruumsh, most wear a yoke of their forbears religious persecutions on Orc and Giant kind amongst Orc societies. Often they find themselves moving to more secular human societies to make fresh starts; drawn to mercenary work they are naturally gifted at. Their name derives from the Legends of the old Orc God Grummsh, known as Grummsh One-Eyed, and rarely when cults form they can seek to find Gruumshborn and raise them to be future leaders.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Savage Attacks: When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.   Vengeance: As a reaction to an allied creature within 30 feet of yourself being bloodied or reduced to 0 hit points, you can move up to half your movement speed and make one weapon attack on the attacker.  

Hafildjo

Hafuvarjo

  Descendants of the Storm Giants, Halfuvarjo or Half-Uvarjo-Tunen, despite their much reduced height Storm Giants would never allow one of their own to be viewed less in the Ordning than any lesser giants. Often they will encourage their humanoid children towards Divination or Storm Sorcery, with martial persuits being seen as a 'wasteful' of their 'potential'. Rare as they are, even rarer does one leave the comfortable convinces of their parents home to become an adventurer.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Vilmos' Gift: You gain one of the following cantrips; Booming Blade, Frostbite, Guidance, Lightning Lure, Shocking Grasp, or Thunderclap. Your spellcasting ability for this spell is your choice of Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.   Storm's Thunder: When you take damage from a creature within 60 feet of you, you can use your Reaction to deal 1d8 Thunder Damage to that creature.    

Half-Troll

  Born from the union of an unfortunate humanoid and a Troll going through rutting season, you never knew your Troll parent. And better off for it with their savage nature, half-trolls do not survive as a rule when raised by Trolls. People look at you expecting anger and irrationality, and they might find it considering how much prejudice you've grown up with. What you definitely have from your monstrous origin is a knack for survivalist fatal situations and staying away from fire and acid.   Senses: Darkvision 60ft
Resistances: Disease, Poison   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Extraordinary Healing: Whenever you regain health or roll Death Saving throws, you roll with advantage and add your Constitution score on to the end result. This feature does not function if you take fire or acid damage.   Iron Gut: You aren’t affected by spoiled food.    

Ogrillion

  Orginially a term exclusively for Those of half Ogre and half Orc persuasion; Ogrillion's cover those with Hill Giant hertiage, Ogre mixes, and even the occasional Verbeeg. Because Ogrillion's are so commonplace and often breed true, they can often have little to do with Giant societies, and are far more intelligent or dexterous than might be assumed. There are quite a few high profile Ogrillion in Thesk and amongst the Orog tribes of the far North.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Brutish Strength: Whenever you make a Strength skill check, treat a roll of 7 or lower on the d20 as an 8.   Hill’s Tumble: When you hit a Large or smaller creature with an Attack Roll and deal damage to it, you can knock that target Prone.    

Ottarsson

  Descendants of the Frost Giants of the Northern Reaches, Ottarsson are considered far beneath most Giantkin of the Northern Tribes. With raw strength being such a critical aspect of Frost Giant's, their hybrid offspring will often be treated even worse than even Ogres or Firbolgs. The few Ottarsson's that do manage any sort of prominence usually have magical assistance that has to be kept strictly hidden from Giantkin least it be stripped from them in moral outrage.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Masud's Gift: You gain proficiency in Intimidation.   Frost's Chill: When you hit a target with an Attack Roll and deal damage to it, you can also deal 1d6 Cold Damage to that target and reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.    

Skyeborn

  Descendants of the Cloud Giants, they are often the product of humans living in the various Cloud Giant Settlements in the sky. They are often mistaken for dampyr with their prominent fangs and pale skin. Like their sires they have a tendancy towards wearing masks and making wagers, but growing up in giant-lead societies can rarely show the level of arrogance and pride of their full blooded masters.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Cloud's Weight: You gain a fly speed equal to half of your movement speed.   Cloud’s Jaunt: As a Bonus Action, you magically Teleport up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.  

Voadkyn

  The wood giant, they make pretty amazing Rangers and Soldiers for the Elves. They prefer long brooding silences to jovial behaviour, and have a powerfully sharp tongue. Full sized Voadkyn are also known as gardeners and landscapers, often constructing and growing vast gardens and labyrinths within the deep woods. If you come across a perfectly cut hedge in the middle of a Forest, fear the arrow of Voadkyn or Half-voadkyn.   Senses: Darkvision 60ft
Resistances: Charmed
Languages: Sylvan
Proficiencies: Bows, and Pikes.   Large Form: Starting at 5th level, you gain the ability to supernaturally grow. As a Bonus Action, you change your Size to Large, provided you’re in a big enough space. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes or until you end it as a Bonus Action. During that duration, you have Advantage on Strength Checks, and your Speed increases by 10 feet. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a Long Rest.   Gifts of the Fey: You know the Vicious Mockery cantrip. Your spellcasting ability for this spell is your choice of Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.   Lessons of the Forest: You ignore difficult terrain in forests.
