Starting Kits (Can only carry one at a time)



A collection of pre-made kits for covering general needs of a beginning adventurer.
 
Explorers Pack (2gp): Containing a backpack, 50ft of hemp rope, bedroll, mess kit, tinderbox, 10 torches, 10 days of rations, and a waterskin.
Burglar’s Pack (4gp): Containing a backpack, a bag of 1,000 ball bearings, 50ft of hemp rope, string, bells, a crowbar, a hooded lantern, flasks of oil, tinderbox.
Priest’s Pack (6 gp): Containing a backpack, blanket, candles, a tinderbox, incense & censer, religious vestments.
Dungeoneer’s Pack (8gp): Containing a backpack, a crowbar, a hammer, 10 pitons, 10 torches, 50ft of hemp rope, a tinderbox.
Scholar’s Pack (14gp): Containing a backpack, a notebook, ink & pen, parchment, a little bag of sand, and a sealing wax.
 

Nonmagical Equipment


Equipment made of novel inventors and the many great products of science in this Age.
 
Arcanist Robes (1gp): A simple set of red and blue trim robes that mark the wearer as a spellcaster. Required to be worn by law in some city-states, and has markings, colours and symbols denoting the spellcasters abilities and specialties for easy identification.
 
Masterwork Bandolier (2gp): A collection of well crated pouches and hoops that allow you at retrieve a half-dozen objects as a free action.
 
Climber's Kits (3gp): A set of 4 50ft ropes, climbers harnesses, pitons, rock hammers and carabiners. When used by 3 or more creatures, allows them to pool your Strength (Athletics) checks into a single check.
 
Veteran’s Cane (4gp): A special scabbard that can hold a finesse weapon. It looks like an ordinary walking cane.
 
Thieves’ Lantern (5gp): Fuelled by oil and can adjust full light for 60ft, to dim light for 60ft, to a targeted beam of 5ft by 60ft bright light.
 
Collapsing Pole (6gp): A 10ft pole that can collapse down to a half-foot.
 
Horn of Hearing (7gp): When listening through, it suppresses the effects of Deafened conditions, but also makes you vulnerable to thunder damage. Gives advantage to Wisdom (Medicine) and Wisdom (Thievery) checks related to hearing.
 
Kuldaharian Boots (25gp): Resistance to non-magical cold, and ignore arctic difficult terrain.
 
Masterwork War-Saddle (30gp): While in this saddle on a mount, you can’t be dismounted against your will if you’re conscious, and attack rolls against the mount have disadvantage.
 
Eyes of Minute Seeing (30gp): You have advantage on Investigation checks that rely on sight while searching an area or studying an object within a foot of your face.
 
Telescopic Eyes (30gp): You have advantage on Perception checks that rely on sight. In conditions of clear visibility, you can make out details of even extremely distant creatures and objects as small as 2 feet across.
