4-level Evocation
You fire a concentrated bolt of energy at a target within range, which explodes in a cloud of crackling lightning. The target must make a Constitution saving throw.
On a failure, the target takes 8d8 lightning damage and can’t take reactions until the start of its next turn. A creature that fails by 5 or more is also stunned until the end of its next turn. On a success, a creature takes half as much damage, isn’t stunned, and can take reactions as normal.
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.
