Static Charge
3rd-Level Ranger Feature
You've learned to channel volatile
lightning magic into your weapons. Whenever you
hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you build
up a single charge of electrical energy called a Static
Charge. You may store a number of Static Charges
equal to your ranger level If you do not gain a new
Static Charge after 1 minute has passed, you lose all
Static Charges you've stored.
When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can choose to forgo gaining a Static Charge and instead cause a burst of electricity. When you do so, you expend all of your Static Charges and deal ld4 lightning damage for each Static Charge expended this way. A creature that takes this damage must succeed a Constitution saving throw or reduce their speed by 5 feet for each expended Static Charge until the end of that creature's next turn.
Bolt Step
7th-Level Ranger Feature
you've learned to transmute your body
into a bolt of lightning for a brief moment. As a
bonus action, you can teleport up to 60 feet to a spot
you can see within range. After you do, you can
choose to deal lightning damage equal to half your
ranger leveL rounded down, to every creature within
5 feet of wherever you teleported away from, or
where you teleported to.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all uses whenever you finish a long rest.
Gust Dodge
11th-Level Ranger Feature
You've mastered moving like the
wind to avoid danger. If you take any damage from
an attack or spell except psychic damage, you can
use your reaction to transform yourself into a gust of
wind When you do so, you gain immunity to the
triggering damage and can fly up to 30 feet without
provoking opportunity attacks.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest, or until you use your action to expend a 3rd level spell slot to regain your use of this feature.
Storm Caller
15th-Level Ranger Feature
You've become a herald of the
storms. As long as you are outdoors and there are
strong, gale, or storm winds, you have a fly speed of
60 feet.
Additionally, you may cast Control Weather as an action without expending a spell slot. When you cast Control Weather this way, your concentration on the spell cannot be broken unless you choose to end it. Once you do so, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
