Make a melee spell attack against a creature you can reach. On a hit, you instantly suck the heat from the target’s body, rendering it numb. The target’s Dexterity score is reduced by 1d4 until it finishes a long rest. The target’s Dexterity score cannot drop below 1.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the target’s Dexterity score is reduced by an additional 1d4 for every two slot levels above the 3rd.
