World Anvil runs worldbuilding challenges and competitions. In order to participate competitively - that is, have a chance to win and get prizes - you’ll need to turn on Competitor Mode.
To turn on (or off) Competitor Mode:
- Click your circle profile picture at the top right.
- Select Features to open the Features configuration page.

- Scroll down to Competitor Mode and click the panel to enable or disable.
