What are Anvil Coins?

To do certain things in the community spaces of World Anvil, you need to spend Anvil Coins. This page explains how you can earn Anvil Coins, and what you can use them for.

 

Anvil Coins are not, and never will be, a microtransaction system.

 

How to earn Anvil Coins

Anvil Coins are earned simply by logging in every day. Your account tier corresponds to the amount of coins you earn, like this:

 
  • Freeman: 1
  • Journeyman: 30
  • Master: 50
  • Grandmaster: 80
  • Sage: 100
  • Inner Sanctum: 200
  • Legend: 300
  • Deity: 400
 

There are currently no other ways to earn Anvil Coins. Anvil Coins can't be bought with any currency.

 

How to spend Anvil Coins

There are currently three ways to spend Anvil Coins:

 
  1. Request a new feature: You can spend 300 Anvil Coins to suggest a new feature. The community will vote on your idea and the Team will discuss it internally to decide if it will be implemented. Learn more.
  2. Vote on feature requests: You can spend 1, 100 or 300 Anvil Coins to vote for or against a feature request, as well as leave a comment. Learn more.
  3. Global posts: The community tab in the global dashboard contains a feed of posts from other Anvilites. You can spend 500 Anvil Coins to make a global post. Learn more.
