How to Link to a Historical Entry

Historical entries are the individual items that are displayed in a timeline. Here's how you can create a link to an event from an article!

  1. Open the Historical Events side menu and find the timeline you want to link to.
  2. Click on the copy button to get the embed code in your clipboard.
  3. Paste it in the article.

To use a link with a custom displayed text (instead of the event title), simply use a closing BBCode tag instead. For example, if your event code is [history:123], use [history:123]Custom text here[/history]

For mroe information and help with historical events, check the Guide to historical events.
