Eridium was confused. One minute she's fighting dragons, killing disturbing creatures, and then next, she's being confronted with the betrayal of the family she held dear to her. Lilith's betrayal had shaken everyone; uncertainty loomed through the group. Trust had been broken, relationships had diminished, and no one was in sound mind.

She could feel herself becoming weak, with everyone overtaking her in power and strength. Feeling helpless and inadequate, she was determined to become stronger for her family. She decided to train her body in the way of Mielikki, the Goddess of the Forest, through intense trials that involve driving your mind, body, and spirit through torturous conditions. Only for Eridium to find out that she was pregnant...

Mielikki had forbidden any mother to undertake her trials; a loss of life was to be expected during the trails, but the loss of a mother was too much for the goddess to bear. Unable to ever begin the trails, she trained as much as she was capable of, but it wasn't enough. She needed to become stronger, faster, and better. Unable to shake these thoughts as they slowly grow and manifest into hatred and resentment towards the being she carried. She deemed herself incapable of loving something that had caused her too much pain.

The night of Zephyr's birth, the moon cast its silvery glow upon the world, and Eridium heard a voice. "Come to me, child, come." The constant repetition of phrases filled her head as she drifted in and out of consciousness throughout the night. Her name whispered through the trees and was carried through the wind. It called to her, filling her with doubt. Eridium cradled her sleeping child, her gaze heavy with love, confusion, and a profound sense of responsibility. Everything she thought her child was wrong. Soft pale blue skin, hair as white as the falling snow, and her small body so delicate. How could she ever believe she could possess an inch of hatred for this child? How could she ever blame the innocent for her weakness. Every moment she shared with her daughter, was one she would never forget. Hearing her daughter's sweet cry and giggle for the first time. Her smile, her eyes slowly opening to the beauty of the world, the grasp of her tiny hand. This only made her resolve grow, to become stronger for her friends and her family.

She made a choice that would haunt her forever: she entrusted her child to the only person she trusted with her daughter's life, her best friend Tiffany. Eridium's heart, heavy with the weight of impending separation, understood the necessity of the journey that awaited. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she held her daughter close for what she feared would be the last time. "I will return, my darling," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I will fight for a brighter future, for you and for all."

With a final, agonizing glance at her home, the cries of her Zephyr burned into a memory as she walked away. Eridium set out on her journey to train. Under the cover of night, she left her family, The Legion, only to return once she was someone worthy of her daughter's love. Embarking on a journey to find the voice and why it called to her. She was close. It called to her, drew her in, and guided her through fog and ancient trees. She ventured through the forest, day after day and night after night. Searching. Until finally, she found the sacred groves of the goddess Mielikki, Lady of the Forest. Mielikki's presence manifested, and Eridium emerged enchanted by the groves, the energy surrounding her, and her connection to the forest; she belonged here. "You are strong, my champion," was all the voice had left to say. Every step felt like a dagger to her soul, her heart aching with the pain of leaving her daughter behind. But she knew that she had to be brave and that she had to fight for a future where Zephyr could live without fear.

With her child in her heart, her resolve had never been clearer. Eridium knew what she had to do, to protect those who could not protect themselves. To fight for those she held dear. Thus, the trail of Mielikki had begun.

2 years layer Eridium returns to her party, stronger, wiser and a champion of the goddess Mielikki. She gazed into Zephyr's eyes for the first time, she vowed to cherish every moment, every precious second, for she knew that their time together was fleeting, a fragile flame in the vast darkness of the world. Now her and her party must prepare to embark on new journeys. Is there a new love blossoming for our champion?

    The Trails:

Eridium found herself within a mystical grove where the plants mirrored the mental states of those who entered. To progress, she had to heal not only the physical wounds of the plants but also tend to the emotional and psychic scars left by external influences. This trial demanded a delicate balance between her own mental resilience and the ability to mend the fractured spirits of the forest's flora.

Mielikki enveloped Eridium in an illusionary forest where reality and fantasy merged. To navigate this ethereal realm, Eridium had to trust her instincts, discerning the true essence of the flora and fauna around her. It taught her to perceive the interconnectedness of all living things and understand the delicate balance that sustained the forest.

Eridium entered a cavernous abyss where ancient spirits manifested as shadowys. The spirits sought to consume her very essence. She had to navigate the inky darkness with nothing but her intuition, fending off attacks that threatened to erode her sanity and life force. Surviving this trial demanded unparalleled mental strength, as the abyss sought to claim her mind and soul.
