Into the Jungle

We are headed into the jungle following the trail of slavers. Slavers from the same group of pirates that have raided my clan's ships as long as I remember. There is only one ship here so this is not their main base but we may get clues as to where that is. I tried out Flame Flash for the first time other than a practice target. My first thought was this is an awful slow cast for combat and then the spell went off. Not sure what I did but it was the most powerful spell I have ever cast. I totally burned 2 wasp like creatures in one shot. The rest of the party was in awe of it.
 
After the wasps we were ambushed by 3 of the pirate Tskrang. Along with the lesson learned last time about never let a thief get behind you I found this time never let a pissed off orc get close. Drax charged one pirate who dodged him twice. He got very angry, charged a third time and nearly cut him in half in one blow.
 
I do not think the jungle is cursed as the waitress near the docks told us. It is only cursed by the presence of the slavers and pirates. We should soon catch them .
