Cloaked Men : Entry : LOG ENCRIPTION 13987857576

by Sandcrab Rex Miller

The alert went out, summoning available New Champions and their allies.

Coincidentally we all arrived at the scene at nearly the same time. At the scene I extended the Nanite Swarm. Information flooding my senses. What used to overwhelm me has now become a comfort. All at once I count the enemies in the vicinity and my allies, two blocks away, Cypher, Ghost and Rocket and on the tallest building Max and in the gas station, a father and possibly son, hide from the half dozen Flamethrower Agents engulfing the gas station. Marching down the street; like they belong, two Black Talon. I see Rocket Dash forward, too fast for the flames to touch him, into the Gas Station, knowing his goal, I radio him, "A man and a boy, hiding in the rear bathroom."

It is a miracle the gas pumps have not yet exploded! I brace myself and digging furiously, sending mounds of dirt covering the bumps, some of the Flamethrower Agents, the front lot and front of the gas station, dousing the flames in that area.

Across the way, my HUD identifies two new supers! I tense at first worried more enemies, but their actions quickly show they are at least for now, on our side. I track one of Cypher's bots circling a van. My Nanites show two cloaked men inside. A bit far to attempt embedding a Tracker Nanite. As soon as I can, I will have to get closer. For now putting out this fire is the priority. I bury two more Flamethrower Agent, putting out more fires and the Propane tanks too.

I see it coming. The familiar electrictro static summoning and four Destroids appear. The one closest to me rockets over landing on the car I was next to for partial cover, and lets loose a double fisted laser blast. I am slightly disappointed it didn't attempt to engage me in hand to hand. The lasers reflect off my Nanite armor. Not even close to a square hit, not a scratch, lucky for me, "You've got my attention now." We'll see how it goes for you all?
