Klec made his way back to us after longer than I would've thought it'd take to look through a cave, turns out he got caught and talked to the bastards instead of Pentworth and Oelun. They want us to take care of the ice monster that took their women and children and they'll stop raiding caravans.
Magical beasts aren't my usual quarry but it might be good practice for my Centennial Hunt, so I decided to continue along, plus it can't hurt if the roads are safer to travel, means less city people scaring off my quarry with their inefficient raids on the wilderness.
Seems to be at least two Acamak's, one used to be their chieftain and another took up the role recently, and Maz (our guide) doesn't seem to shut up, so we put him on watch with the Elf.
Maz gives me a magic arrow and a bow, but I tell him to keep it and defend itself while it takes point and alerts us about traps. After entering their cave, we found no trace of ice or water anywhere until we saw three icicles on the roof, which we quickly found out were Ice Snakes of some kind.
I shot one from the roof and Oulen put it out of its misery. The others quickly fell after it.
We found the Hobgoblin's home and some water creatures within. Klec and I snuck around best we could but they spotted us in the end so we dispatched of them easily enough.
The living waterfall gave Oelun some troubles but we got through in the end. We explored more of the complex and saw a sleeping Wrym.
