Letter #1: Negea's Bull Crisis

by Kairon Wolfram

Dear Cassida,

Don't worry, I'm still here. And I'm sure you miss me fondly.

You would be pleased to know that part of my mission has been successfully completed so far. The runaway cattle in Negea was found in the nearby forests, having been kidnapped by goblins. To the best of my knowledge, they seemed to worship the cow as a god. Bizarre, I know. But I've come to expect it from the goblin folk.

And I have made some new friends. This time I'm not being sarcastic. I have been graced with the assistance of a dwarven magic-user, a human woman of faith, a yuan-ti traveller and a hulking goliath. We're an odd group, but I believe I will continue travelling with them. Not for any important reason. Just for fun.

We're still looking for the reason behind the bodies found on the road connecting the village to the capital. So don't worry, I'm still working.

However, there is the problem of the Air Skulls here. I may have been challenged to a fight in the Mud Pits. I will make sure to show those small-time thugs how petty they really are.

From your favourite Reever,
Kairon.
