Thes's Journal: Entry #1

I can't believe it. After 7 years... freedom. I'm out. Out of Rebirth. No small trek running through the canyon passes. Was pretty sure the paladins were hot on my heels, but I lost them in Wend. Blood spiders caught them off guard, but I managed to slip past them. However, now I'm trapped in the ruins. The paladins, the ones that weren't slaughtered, retreated back to Rebirth. I guess they figured the blood spiders would finish me off. It's starting to look like they were right. But I didn't come this far just to die in a old ruin. I will make it out of here. I will survive. And I will make Holy Nation pay.
