today we had more metal coins than we've ever had before. everyone was going wild exchanging theirs for other things. it really doesn't seem smart to have so many on my person but they'll make an amazing offering to the glass angels upon my return, along with my many other unique findings.



speaking of unique findings, i managed to find myself in bed with a northerner from a tribe we've recently come to know about. she gave me some detailed information, and i gave her some of mine.

her name is hequa, she seems reliable and is very good companionship.



the whole thing started when we crossed paths with the queen. she saved our hides, and offered to have us join her in her bath. that's where i met hequa.


as i come to understand more about the situation, we visited the orphanage where many of the people in this city grew up to search for information related to merrick and his sister remetta, who we'd seen on wanted posters..



we didn't have a lot to go off of, that was made clear, and we were met with some resistance and eventually hostility by the people running the orphanage. making our situation just a little bit harder...


without much coaxing remetta showed herself to us in pursuit of killing syb, which we simply can't abide.. she couldn't be reasoned with and ended up dying by our hands.

i hope she is able to find peace and reunite with her brother in the immaterial plane.


now we'll just have to hope queen rivain is feeling compassionate upon our return..
