Strange Bedfellows

Vys is here. I'm not sure why or what he is up to, but he is in Prarambha, Manadh. I should see if I can find him. I haven’t seen him in years, not since he left home in pursuit of some scroll. Vys has always been ambitious.
 
One of the new strange fellows I met here ran into him, Merigold. Apparently right before meeting one of the local cannibalistic giants. I wonder what strange thing has befallen them to turn to such savagery? She is quite the curious creature. She looks like a tiefling though claims to be an orc. Regardless, she seems harmless enough, friendly if a bit naive. She has a servant elf of the druid variety, named Umbra. She refers to him on all decisions and, though he follows her, she seems to try his patiences.
 
Which reminds me, they are staying with the local mayor, a dwarf by the name of Jawl who thought it appropriate to offer a lord to sleep in the mudroom. If I find a way to correct him of the insult tomorrow, I should take it.
 
Of the others, there is a goblin, named Zazik, who seems to be unable to keep his hands still. He tinkers with everything and comes up strange inventions like Dad, though more mechanical and less alchemical. He created the contraption we are sleeping in tonight. He seems like a fine fellow, though prideful. Aspasia, a templar of this land, who’s beauty is one to behold. She seems to bewitch all eyes, though does not care to draw such attention. Rumple, a rogue if I ever saw one. The halfling, though certain to cut a purse, seems more interested in bedding of wenches and a fine drink. I do not think I will have to worry about him. And finally, Hype, a proud warrior looking to prove himself in combat. Perhaps too eager, but he seems like an honorable man. He and I have agreed to team up in the competition.
