Today was amazing! I woke up today expecting to have my usual Friday of working and then playing at the The Cottbus in the evening. As I was walking outside, I noticed some new strangers outside asking for a doctor. The man (who I later learned was named Remi) had broken his leg in some mysterious accident. Of course I took them to Hamish who had just woken up like me, but he patched the man up just fine. The other man (his name is Romelus) looked amazing! He was very tall and wore shiny armor. The only people I've seen who wear armor like that were the emperors guards. I decided to give them the tour of Cottbus that I never get to give anyone because nobody visits this town. When we got to the general store they scared poor Val half to death by dropping a bunch of wolf pelts on his counter! Don't they know how to act around Firbolg? Anyways, that's when I learned they were attacked by wolves on the way here. It also explains why they were keeping those wolf cubs on them. Maybe there is hope for them after all?

I went to The Cottbus that evening and played for the usual folk. Near the end of my performance I spotted those two weirdo's again and decided to follow them. We were tasked by Donald (The lonely guy who lives on the edge of the village) to cut down a very large tree at the top of the hill. It was that same tree I get spiritual vibes from. I later discovered that it was housing the spirit of a Daughter of The Lady of the Forest and that if the tree gets cut down then the whole forest dies with it! Romelus was running past me just in time for me to tell him. We ran to Donald's house and met up with Remi to tell everyone. Donald didn't believe in nature spirits even though we live in a village with dozens of druids, so I used my powers to show him they exist. He got real tight lipped and promised not to log that big tree. I helped the two adventurers with some stuff after that, but the important part is that I got invited to go adventuring with them! I might come back to Cottbus someday and settle down if I feel like it, but my heart has always sought adventure. I've got these nice maps that can help us get to where those guys want to go, they're family heirlooms made by my ancestors when they traveled to this land during the war.
