After a hard fight with another sorcerer, Fip realizes he could still use more power. This time, he does not search for a new weapon or trinket to boost his power. This time, he is looking for the Tome of Leadership and Influence. With this book, he can make himself more charismatic and stronger in almost every way. Fip realizes that getting this book might be harder to get than even his Staff of Power. He knows he needs some very valuable items to trade for one. Each morning, Fip uses his Cartomancer Feat to create a Simulacrum of himself. Once it is created, Fip orders it to cast Wish to create a diamond worth 25,000gp. After the first successful round of this, Fip goes out into the city, putting the word out that he is looking for a Tome of Leadership and Influence that still has power in it. He spends 1,000 gp getting the word out that in a few days, he will be wanting to trade up to 5 extremely valuable diamonds for the tome. If anyone asks, he shows them the first diamond to let them see the value of what he is trading. Fip first offers up to 5 of the diamonds he had made for the trade. If the seller wants more, he offers up the following to sweeten the pot; up to 5,000 gp, a luck stone, emerald worth 1,000 gp, the book "Beyond the Cauldron", a pouch containing powder of black pearl (worth 1,000gp), a tuning fork for Gehenna, and a tuning fork for the Abyss. Fip even offers to return the book once he finishes it.
