by Princess of Belloverd Salana St. George

In the cloak of night, a princess lay,
Unknowing that the shadows would betray.

As danger crept close with a cold, cruel grin.

Her heart beat loud in the silence deep,
As masked figures through the darkness creep.
She donned a disguise to hide her might,

Her pulse like thunder, her breath in haste,
As the clash of steel filled the air, a deadly chase.

The battle surged, fierce and fast,
With each strike, the princess’ truth was cast.
She was no fragile, gentle soul,
But a warrior fierce, her secret whole.

Her heart raced faster with every blow,
A dance of life where none could know.
In the dark of night, her strength was clear—
A princess, a fighter, driven by fear.

For though her disguise shielded her name,
Her courage burned bright, an unquenchable flame.
The battle raged until the dawn’s first light,
And the princess stood, victorious in the fight.
