Session 8 - Squirrels and Orbs

Tavern
- Rowena (and kobold gang) run into Aherda at tavern
- loud tremor in earth
- city center has large gaping hole
- rowena investigates for shovel droppings / excavation holes
 
 
Forest
- no idea where we are
- head east w/ mathey
- walk through front gate, make our way to city center
 
Large chasm
- rowena investigating fungus
- palace guard captain w/ funny hat (not crimshaw) approaches
- they sneak away
- we run into them
- heal mathey
- loudly mention glowing orbs, someone shows up and wants an orb
- we clean rowena's shit rag and fail to sell it
- guards called
- escape to rowena's house
 
Rowena's hosue
- investigate fungal orb
- - red tinted darkness
- - rocky: "bring them to master..."
- - rowena knows people who worship evil gods
- gave tortellini's journal to rowena
- mathey went to (and snuck away from) library, i went to buy rope and ammo materials, rowena and aherda still at house
- seven guards show up at house, question rowena about chasm.
- they investigate house, pat down rowena but find nothing and leave
 
Worship area
- go to see priest
- talk to familiar
- - REAL PHEONIX BLOOD
- - rowena used some, arm grew back
- - i used some on rocky, he's actually ALIVE now.
- - fungus orb capable of wiping out entire city if broken (imperfect)
- observe worship event
- goat was sacrificed
- - hole opened up beneath, but then closed
- - - master... does rocky want me to throw them in there?
- we decide to leave
 
Bounty clearing time,
- go to body pit
- disguise two bodies as me and mathey
- the farmer there (bolimia?) recognized me
- - she wants me, yay.
- aherda and rowena head to bounty office, theyt get no money though
 
We're now on the trail of a pheonix.
