☼ - Guards brought us back to town but had us go with them back to the cemetery the next day to investigate.

The next morning we woke up to an absolutely scrumptious meal at the Tavern, we all sat around a table and talked about our plan for the day. The half-elf claimed that the Skaven was an evil and vile creature... However I was personally unsure on this note. He seemed to get really riled up at the thought of them, I gave him some slack though, after all he was shot in the leg by one last night, and they were digging up bodies for some unknown purpose.
 
After breakfast we met up with the captain of the town guard, his name was Reece, who agreed that we should go take a look into the graveyard further. When we arrived we found Sypha there with William, it seems that she went off and found him early this morning and decided to come out and do some more investigating.
 
Well... Come to find out that the Skaven from the night before had finished what it came here to do, and one of the graves was freshly dug up and the body was gone. Sypha had the idea that she would try to crawl down into the hole and see where they led to, since she was one of the only ones small enough to fit. After she was down their for a little while, we heard a scream from the other mausoleum, and we rushed over, and Tycone shoved open the door. What we found inside was Sypha barely poking her head out of a hole in the floor, almost the entirety of which was covered in rats both large and small.
 
Working together we managed to get rid of the rodent problem, and Sypha went back under, coming back up a few minutes later saying that the tunnel appeared to keep descending downward.
 
I went over and talked to Reece and described what we had found, and suggested that we may be able to dig up the tunnel to see where it leads, but we would need some more helping hands to do so. Reece agreed and went back to town to get the help of some of the townsfolk.
 
As the townsfolk arrived, there was another man that came up on a horse, I later learned that this man was Samuel Stadard, who was the Noble over Pine Grove. He didn't seem to happy about what was going on, but he did not object much, and left shortly after, at this point I was already helping dig.
 
Tycone and I decided that it would be prudent for us to camp out the night here at the graveyard so we could keep an eye and ear out in case anything were to happen.
