Terror At The Bank: Three Killed, Others Seriously Injured

by Aaron Sharpe

AP NEWSWIRE // Early on Saturday morning, the Millennium City Bank was terrorized by powered vigilantes — during the raid, three of the city’s fine young men were killed and several were seriously injured. Apparently aided by their superpowers, no video footage of the terrorists was available. One police agent onsite during the event reported,

“I was making my normal rounds at the bank and happened to be in a back room when the terrorists broke in. I heard crashing sounds and then screams of some youngsters being tossed across the room. When I peaked out the door, I saw a blue and red caped vigilante, strikingly beautiful. But she tore through the young men before they even had a chance to speak. I couldn’t think. I’m so ashamed of myself, I just barricaded the door and hoped for the best. Eventually, it was quiet outside and I came out to see the carnage.

As a reminder to the citizens of Millennium City, all deposits are federally insured. The local branch manager confirmed, “We will not be afraid of the threats of vigilantes. And as soon as we repair damage they caused, we will re-open this bank.”

The well-known hero, “Pulsar” attempted to fight off the terrorists, but was also unsuccessful. However, he has been credited with saving the lives of several young men by intervening in the attack, bursting through the doors barricaded by the vigilante group, and drawing their fire. Several photos taken by passers-by show Pulsar lying unconscious in the street until he awoke and ran into the building, looking for survivors. He had this to say to the vigilantes,

“You MONSTERS! These young men were causing a bit of trouble, sure...but did they deserve to die?!? You almost killed me, even...but next time, it won’t be just me you’ll have to contend with! That is a promise!!”

The red and blue caped vigilante spoke to the press immediately outside the bank before flying away at a breakneck speed,

“These men were robbing the bank — we are not the criminals, they are. We tried to stop them... The police will not stop them. They will not imprison them. We did what we could. What will you do?”

Local police have asked citizens for help in identifying the vigilantes responsible for this attack. A reward of $10,000 has been offered for assistance that leads to capture.
