Still moving in through the caves

Hello again! I am still finding this weird to greet a book, but I do like it. It is like having a small friend to carry around and tell things to.
 
We've been moving through these caves for a few days now, many things have happened. We were sent by this doctor to find these drow (I am thinking these are like elves? I should maybe ask Miss Rosani about this), but they have all spider-y body things happening. On our way, we found a different drow. They were able to help us, but they wanted us to find sentimental things for them (sentimental means things that have memories with them.) I asked them about my cloak, to see if they could see anything about it that might say something about my parents, but.. They just said it was a sad thing. I am wondering why it must be a sad thing for them.
 
We got a potion from them, that took us to the direction of the people we were after, but we got stuck inside this bit that seemed to loop around. You would walk one way, but keep getting back to this tavern place that sold soup. We had to buy the soup things to get out of it!
 
Our spider-y elf drow were at some kind of, church place? but it was still a cave. We saved some stuck mushroom friends, and convinced them to come with us! Duke even turned into a spider and it seemed to surprise them? I was not being able to tell very much. Now we're on our way back to the doctor's place, but are resting for now.
