The Fabulous Adventures of Chadwick Fosco Fuzzbottle III - Day 1

The job advertised a very hefty sum to the person or persons that captured a beast in the jungle. Fosco arrived promptly and early to scout out the place, invisibly of course.
I wanted to find out bit more before joining any new adventuring party, the people that adventuring attracts can be some real weirdos, you know.
 
At first glance, Fosco thought to himself, Fosco who is this motley crew of irregulars? Not very impressive. What a dull lot.......but Fosco is patient, and what a wonderful surprise to learn how wrong I was.
Sometimes not being hasty is the best policy, Fosco always says.
 
Being lured into the jungle, we were of course ambushed and fought a dragon, by the name of Viz...Vir...something, Fosco can't be bothered to remember his name, he's dead now. He was luring adventurers into the junlge with the intention of ambushing them near his home and where he knew the terrain best. Ambushing and thereby separating them from their loot, but boy did we show him. Though this sorry lot almost drowned in the doing, it was a close call. Fosco thought about letting of them drown, if you put yourself in harms way sometimes it's your fault. But he'd had such so much fun so far, why stop now?
