Session 1: Prince at Salton

Mavrosa leaned against the window frame, propping herself up with her elbows. The cold night air let her see her breath push against the pane. Unlike how she spent her time, armorede in the light, she wore a simple tunic and undergarment. Her eye focused on the torch fire from a nearby building as she thought about the events in the past few days.
 
They were going to a grand tournament that would decide the true heir to the throne. An extended trip beyond the salt pillar and wheat fields of Salton that would determine if Geoffrey would die.
 
"We're not going to make it very far," muttered Mavrosa.
 
Aisha was still insane. She was a court mage, a doctor, and then a pilot. Her current personality was just a revolutionary leader. What little mental capacity Geoffrey had was being eroded by that woman. Tiffany tried to diagnose her but just ended up getting headaches from trying to peer into her mind. Tiffany and Igami were fine. Weak maybe, but loyal and competent. Bruce seems to be just cruel. Strong but needlessly painful to deal with. This group that was picked up in a brothel was colorful and not all good. That one cheese obsessed islander was stupid but at least worth the muscle.
 
Maybe it would work. It could. The world thought them dead with the help of Mayor Chillings and the poison of Vice Mayor Charles Ysaucov. Everyone's appearance had changed slightly too with elaborate disguises and ghostly aid. Of course the unique items such as Mavrosa's royal armor and Geoffrey's newly acquired helm of Olivia's great great great ancestor. The north seemed to be the problem though. Perhaps she should be suspicious of any hosts from there. Just who would send that messenger?
 
"Perhaps I should try drinking again. It seems everyone destresses nicely to that foul drink," sighed Mavrosa.
 
Somehow, more guards just meant more stress. Maybe this whole things was a bad idea...
