Balthazorog

We finally got out of the tower tonight, but not after a rough run-in with a Balhannoth.
We lost Arley.
We lost time.
 
What we gained, though, could potentially help us in the future.
We found the scrolls.
We found magic items.
and
I gained the name of the creature that attacked us in the abyss.

I was almost lost to the abyss as well, as Balthazorog had their grip on me.
I think the creature was messing with my mind.
 
I saw something that looked like my father.
He called out to me
begging me to stop
asking me why I did it
accusing me in agony as he burned slowly
and crumbled before my feet.
 
Im tired, distraught, angry, saddened, and ready to return these scrolls.
 
Leaving the tower, though, it seems that things were slightly different.
The goblins have laid siege on the monastery, so we cant go there to rest.
 
We need to return to the tower, unfortunately, in order to find the halfling hideout again.
I hope, this time, they wont be so hostile towards us.
