Prayer to Lolth after the spider airship incident
Lolth, if you hear this, I am sorry.
I tried to protect them, I really tried.
I was weak.
(pause as Vitae’s eyes start to water)
I tried but I watched as they all died. The one that lived, it was not even by my hands.
(Vitae takes a second to regain his composer)
I did not send a prayer to distract you with my self-pity. I have just had a lot on my mind recently. I have heard about the war with the Nine Hells, and the many other realms that surround Gehenna. That does not sound good. I hope you are doing well. In times of war, it can be hard to find joy. I do not have a physical offering as I did last time, but I wish prosperity and good fortune for you in these trying times.
