Life in the Dragon's Castle

Life in the castle is suffocating, at least whilst her father is in charge. she was expected to undergo a strict regiment from the moment she was able to grasp the concept of reading he ordered for her education to start. At the fragile age of 4 to 6 she was speared the wrath of her father at her slow progress, but some time around age 6 he started ordering the handmaids do discipline her when she got things wrong or would be naughty on purpose. She was no allowed to join her brothers and play was forbidden as it is not seen as proper for the heir. She grew to hate her title, seeing from a far and haring through a window her brothers and sister play was worst than the lashings she was receiving, staring out the window crying that she didn't want to be alone, and the longing to receive love.

 
She would on the regular sneak out her room through the passage ways. She couldn't go out due her siblings being supervised, she would definitely get spotted. There was somewhere in the castle where no one would tell on her, especially if it meant that the poor child would get more beatings, That place being the kitchen. She learned the basics of cooking, and she would spend time with the people she would grow to see as family.

 
The 3 head chefs -
Biiel Holiru - Sturdy but burly man whose belly shook when laughing and good at teaching
Thia Tamlyrr - Sweet younger lady whose favourite game was chase. Several meals would end up on the floor usually as a result of the games they would play.
Shanrianna (Nanna Anna for short) - Older Lady who tried to instil the traditions of her people, in young Marilia. Always made snacks for Marilia.

 
Laughing, joking, playing, Just simply receiving love and being a child. she would get shown more secret passage ways and gain access to her siblings rooms and vice versa with ought being seen in the corridors. That's when she began her rebellious streak, around 7 to 8 years old when she and her brothers, especially Varlias, she would steal, paint, misplace, and overall be a nuisance to her worst tormenters. Two of the worst where:
Shanua Maenenrid, she was her Language and politics teacher.
Pemo Nyrhlascient, she was one of her handmaids, and the one that would enjoy punishing the most. she had a hold of a sturdy cane that did not receive too much water damage before finding it. and would use it on her, even to the extremes of making her bleed sometimes.

 
The two of them have made a deal where the teacher would make Marilia appear worst than what she actually was, leading to no one batting an eye at how often the disciplining was happening. Weather her father had a say in it or not.
