Inner conflict

Putting the trappings of wealth and power back on after weeks of freedom from their chains is a strange feeling. I must keep my goal in mind. My parents would have no compunction in sacrificing innocent lives to gain control of the Coalition datacore, I must not follow in their footsteps! I wonder what they would think of me, serving their business interests and trading on their contacts, I bet they think this world is making me more like them. Is this the right thing to do? I am conflicted. I have seen the brutality of the Coalition but now I have seen the crazed violence of the world they are fighting to control my sympathy to their cause is rising. Am I infected by their madness?
