A solar year in lasts 360 days, years = songs. Current calendar year is Song 786. Each song consists of four three-month cycles called verses (seasons), which correspond to seasons. Each month lasts for 30 days and is known as a chorus. There are 12 choruses to a song:
Verse (Season) First Chorus Second Chorus Third Chorus
The Dawning Verse (Spring) Glimmerbreath Glimmercall Glimmerhush
The Rising Verse (Summer) Rayswell Raytrill Raycrest
The Falling Verse (Autumn) Shadesigh Shadetoll Shadesway
The Fading Verse (Winter) Deepdraw Deepchime Deepstill

A chorus consists of five six-day spans known as measures (like weeks but one day shorter). The days that comprise these measures are called beats (Firsbeat, Sekinbeat, Thirsbeat, Forasbeat, Fifsbeat, and Hexbeat).
