Eldritch storms stopped for so long they were forgotten, then started again.
 
The medusa was transformed by the dwarves that worshipped the storms after leading a rebellion
 
Torbold is the creator of the statues (already knew that)

The statues were kept together at one point but were separated by the rebellion
 
The most destructive statue was the Eel and Whale (In her opinion)

The force field wasn't there in her time. You used to be able to see into the astral sea until a giant eldritch storm covered the world, the force field was made after this.

The dwarves woke up during the Slumber to worship the twins.
 
The twins were sent to fight intruders in the mortal realm. the mistook one of shay's creatures for an invader, and killed it. She lashed out, and waters rose worldwide.
 
the old stormling had no other parent, was simply magically created. Had psionics and pyrokinesis.

the way the statues were made, they were not enchanted, instead they captured small portions of the sentient storm, and would release them. Unsure if the whole sentient storm is in these or if only parts of it are.
