Goblins and Cabbages

I just had to write about this moment because it was so amazing and exciting and I can't believe I'm back in my hometown I'm actually more excited I think than I expected yay yay yay
 
So we're at Middle Tavick's Landing, by the marketplace. We got dragged into an investigation. Some lady got her jewels stolen, and she was accusing this halfling kid stole it. Long story short, we now have to look for the culprits, and the halfling kid—Ragana—has now been temporarily adopted into the party.
 
After going around for a while, Winter, Mission, Oi, and I see a trio of suspicious looking goblins. We decide to follow after them. Ragana too. Believe me, it was one of the weirdest chases I've ever been in my life.
 
These goblins were kind of stupid—fast, but stupid. They'd think they're hidden. But they weren't.
 
The goblins tried to delay us by spilling the contents of some of the vegetable carts, but failed. At this point I just felt bad for the vendors. Especially for that man who seemed to really love his cabbages.
 
Mission slipped on one of the cabbages but actually managed to roll on it and surf all the way to catch up to one of the goblins....wow.
 
Mission, Mission's steel defendeer (not a mistake, it's literally a deer), Winter, Oi, Ragana successfully trapped two of the goblins. I was separated from them because I followed the other goblin.
 
I kept failing to grapple one of them. Something was off about me today. It was incredibly frustrating. Eventually, the damn goblin got away. I was really avoiding not to kill him, but at this rate maybe I should've just killed him.

We're reunited with the others who weren't with us at the goblin chase. From here, we'll decide what to do with these goblins. And Accio. Sometimes I forget that he's been with us the whole time. I have a lot of questions for him about the King's Dark Lanterns.
