What have I gotten myself into?

I decided to tag along with the mercenary group as they had found information about some sort of new weapon that the coalition had encountered and it had given the Coalition some serious damage.
 
This might be what we need after seeing the devastation that the surrounding area of Tolkeen suffered at the hand of the Coalition attack. I need to make sure that I do whatever I can to support the defensive struggle against the oppressive Coalition.
 
The mercenary group turned out to be a really abrasive and condescending bunch, and they all but one talked about shooting me in the back and I have the suspicion that they will try and ditch me as soon as possible. The only one that didn't mock my abilities to communicate with the machine spirits was Estelle the Cyberknight, she was kind, helpful and not to mention drop dead gorgeous.
 
Why someone that beautiful would give me any attention is beyond me but Ill make sure that I do my best to stay on her good side, both of them.
 
We traveled East along the same path a previous scouting party had traveled on an unconnected mission, regarding some necromancer that may or may not be related to another one of the mercenary group a Leyline walker called Bodie.
 
Wonder if that will cause a problem later on
 
We came across a village that had come under attack and another Cyberknight had given his life to protect the villages.
 
We are definitely in over our heads, at least I am
