How did I end up staring down a creature like this?
 
I don't even know what that was. Mostly it was a feeling. Dread, in a particular area. Arli seemed to know it, or know of it anyways. I guess it didn't help because it took her. I can only assume she's dead.
 
Equally heartbreaking, the monster showed me Cas. They were so small and helpless, how can they have survived? I miss them. And everyone else. I really try to not think about them most of the time. Cas looked so real. Like if I could just go touch them, they'd really be there.
 
K and I still managed to walk away. We found what must be the things Nele sent us for.
 
We found our way out and walked right into a war. If you ask me, this isn't our fight. Let's get out of here.
